Half term holiday advance

In this half term, I will be working on my song "I wanna know you".

4th/april/2018

Today, I recorded the introduction of the song, but first of all, I remembered one of the tips from one of literature review which says that always we have to record first the instruments with louder frequency, but I started recording the base of the guitar and then I started adding the instruments.

This song is in pop but I will add the reggaeton patterns at the chorus. This is a recording of the introduction of the song:

The following audio is the same recording but with the effects on it. I have added EQ, Compressor, Pedals, reverb, delay and a phaser to create that sound:

the next audio is the intro with the bass melody and the piano melody. Also I have made some panning and some equalisation. However, those intruments were created on logic but the guitar as same as the song "nine letters" is recorded by a USB microphone and edited with effects:

Anyway today a had a good advance with the song, tomorrow I will add some drums and more instruments.

This is the screenshot of how I worked today in the piano melody, the bass and the effects of the guitar.

Today, I have advanced a lot with the song on logic, I have added drums, some synths and also I have structured more the song. It has more body and I am really happy for that, Also, I have equalised the drums and the synths, followed by the panning to give space to each sound and making it sound clear.

23/APRIL/2018

Today, I have structured the song, and how it will sound. but also, I have structured the chorus. the only thing left is to finishing with the panning, doing some mixing and recording the vocals.

Basically, the song is already structured and also I have finished with the panning and the organisation of levels.

I hope that for the next week, I could be able to record the vocals, with Ujwal from level three of production, who is taking this as part of his collab.
