Song of the week: Salvaje/ savage

This week I have been offered to make a collaboration with my friend C-Bry and another friend called Jafet. This collaboration underlay of the idea of my friend Jafet who proposed to write the lyrics of a song called 'Salvaje that means 'Savage' in English. I started to write some lyrics listening to this track who owns Steven beats, a producer from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

This is the track that we are planning to use for the recording of this song, but first, we are going to buy the license to use it commercially. However, I am going to add more effects and sounds to enrich this track and making it more powerful.

I know that I am not producing this song but anyway we personally really liked the vibe and the essence of this track to build up our song.

Today, we have bought the license to use this track with the copyrights of the producer who has arranged with us a deal. On Friday, we are going to record the vocals of this song, also I have produced some new sounds above this track to make it sound more interesting:

Today, I have had the recording session for this track 'Salvaje' and it has been successful. The arrangement of the song was very good and we are really happy with the result for today's session.

Here I have attached the final track version, I am very proud of the work we have made today with our producer Dukus.

Half term holiday advance

In this half term, I will be working on my song "I wanna know you". 4th/april/2018 Today, I recorded the introduction of the song, but first of all, I remembered one of the tips from one of literature review which says that always we have to record first the instruments with louder frequency, but I started recording the base of the guitar and then I started adding the instruments. This song is in pop but I will add the reggaeton patterns at the chorus. This is a recording of the introduction of the song: The following audio is the same recording but with the effects on it. I have added EQ, Compressor, Pedals, reverb, delay and a phaser to create that sound: the next audio is the intro with the bass melody and the piano melody. Bernhoft who uses the looping on his music to creates the melody in every single instrument. he uses a dynamical and an interesting range of different acoustic instruments, such as the bass, the percussion, the hooks and the second voices. Also, he uses his voice to create repetitive phrases that contain like a Dj effect at the end of the phrase of the hook. He uses the loop pedal very well to create a live recording which is very interesting because he recreates an acoustic kind of instruments just with the guitar and his voices.
