General objective:

To do a research deeply emphasized in the techniques, production, history, context and general analysis of the Album ‘24k Magic’ by Bruno Mars, holding our own understanding and interpretation of the album. Also, giving a good and specified information which serves as a source of information and gives a point of view for people interested in researching about this great album. For finishing, to achieve correctly the task as a requirement for the subject of music theory which is emphasized an induction project.

Escucha 24K Magic: el nuevo álbum de Bruno Mars24K Magic (stylized as XXIVK Magic) is the third studio album by American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars.

This is an album created emphasized in the R & B from de 90´s, which it was so popular style. In one of Bruno´s comments, he said, “This kind of music was one of the reason for me falling in love with the music”.

Recording sessions for the album took place between early 2015 and September 2016 at Glenwood Place Studios in Burbank, California. It is considered by some critics to be influenced by 1980s and 90s pop nostalgia. It is also the first album by Mars to enter the R&B and hip-hop charts on Billboard, staying atop the R&B albums chart for 21 weeks, so far.

Three singles were released, the title track, "That's What I Like" and "Versace on the Floor". "That's What I Like" became Mars's seventh number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

The album's sleeve was designed while using several inspirations, including a "musky cologne ad" and a "1995 Cadillac Allanté convertible". The latter felt like "bootleg luxury" and when it came the time he was wondering "What's the guy who drives this wearing? He's wearing the finest a** silk owns! And he thinks he's doing something extra-fancy in shorts".Mars and Greg Gigendad Burke were in charge of coming up with the artwork, while Kai Z Feng was the photographer of it.

Half term holiday advance

In this half term, I will be working on my song "I wanna know you". 4th/april/2018 Today, I recorded the introduction of the song, but first of all, I remembered one of the tips from one of literature review which says that always we have to record first the instruments with louder frequency, but I started recording the base of the guitar and then I started adding the instruments. This song is in pop but I will add the reggaeton patterns at the chorus. This is a recording of the introduction of the song: The following audio is the same recording but with the effects on it. I have added EQ, Compressor, Pedals, reverb, delay and a phaser to create that sound: the next audio is the intro with the bass melody and the piano melody. Bernhoft who uses the looping on his music to creates the melody in every single instrument. he uses a dynamical and an interesting range of different acoustic instruments, such as the bass, the percussion, the hooks and the second voices. Also, he uses his voice to create repetitive phrases that contain like a Dj effect at the end of the phrase of the hook. He uses the loop pedal very well to create a live recording which is very interesting because he recreates an acoustic kind of instruments just with the guitar and his voices.
