INDUCTION GIG EVALUATION

Yesterday at Level 3 music performance, We could infer that it was a well-perform gig which had the place in the theater. At first, I would like to highlight the fact of that all the group performed as a team and showed a really good interaction and understanding of how to work as a team. 

Moreover, the songs played were very well-known for their recognition and culture over the years in the music's history and development of this musical -world. In my opinion, I think that playing this kind of songs was something very beneficial because the songs are culturally enjoyable.

On the other hand,  the performance of each member of the group was very confident which made a good presence on the stage. The most important thing was that everyone enjoyed and had fun in the gig, Also I could say that over time all of us we have interacted more each other and that is very good because we have got more friendship and confidence each other.

Indeed, It should be great to perform again in the future and it is very plausible to say that we going to see an advance and growth as musicians. I would like to add that obviously, we are in a process of growth as musicians, we need to improve many things and also, it is good to get a good feedback for improvement and quality to be better. in the performance, I could say that I inferred that we need to improve our quality of sound and to perfect the way of performing, I am not saying in the way of being confident and having a presence on the stage, it is about setting up correctly our stuff and organization on the stage, applying new techniques and new music styles too.

Half term holiday advance

In this half term, I will be working on my song "I wanna know you". 4th/april/2018 Today, I recorded the introduction of the song, but first of all, I remembered one of the tips from one of literature review which says that always we have to record first the instruments with louder frequency, but I started recording the base of the guitar and then I started adding the instruments. This song is in pop but I will add the reggaeton patterns at the chorus. This is a recording of the introduction of the song: The following audio is the same recording but with the effects on it. I have added EQ, Compressor, Pedals, reverb, delay and a phaser to create that sound: the next audio is the intro with the bass melody and the piano melody. Bernhoft who uses the looping on his music to creates the melody in every single instrument. he uses a dynamical and an interesting range of different acoustic instruments, such as the bass, the percussion, the hooks and the second voices. Also, he uses his voice to create repetitive phrases that contain like a Dj effect at the end of the phrase of the hook. He uses the loop pedal very well to create a live recording which is very interesting because he recreates an acoustic kind of instruments just with the guitar and his voices.
