  • What was the content of the performance?


The content of the performance was done by the musical theater students who performed about the next topics:

- Independence
- Drogs
- Romeo and Juliet
-  they danced contemporary style.
- they interpreted different kind of monologue that represented different contexts in different situation or stories.

  • were the performers successful in engaging the audience ?


Yes, in fact the performance was so entertaining and well-performed. Also I think that the way as the were so concentrated and focus on doing it well , made it interesting and enjoyable for watching it.


  • What techniques did they use for engaging the audience? 
In my opinion, I think  that the best-used for entertaining people is the dynamic and playing with the contexts at the time of performing and relating a story, which was something that they did. Also, the quick change of monologues and divided groups doing their characters and after suddenly everyone acting or dancing at the same time as if all were connected and spontaneity distributed.

  • what was a standout moment for you? (choose a particular piece). what was it about this piece that made it special?
The standout moment for me was when they performed a original version of romeo and juliet, which was very entertaining. The most important was that provoked lots of emotions when romeo kisses juliet but we could see like the person who was interpreting the character was taking that scene very serious and real. Furthermore,the tension that there was in between the characters was romantic and passionate, as well cute as a love of youth.

  • what was your overall impression of the entire event?
My overall impression about the entire event was that I could see the well-trained performance that they did, it showed that they really are improving and studying for being who they wanna be and also, I could infer that they have friendship and help each other. It was very good to be part of the public and enjoying the performance.

Half term holiday advance

In this half term, I will be working on my song "I wanna know you". 4th/april/2018 Today, I recorded the introduction of the song, but first of all, I remembered one of the tips from one of literature review which says that always we have to record first the instruments with louder frequency, but I started recording the base of the guitar and then I started adding the instruments. This song is in pop but I will add the reggaeton patterns at the chorus. This is a recording of the introduction of the song: The following audio is the same recording but with the effects on it. I have added EQ, Compressor, Pedals, reverb, delay and a phaser to create that sound: the next audio is the intro with the bass melody and the piano melody. Bernhoft who uses the looping on his music to creates the melody in every single instrument. he uses a dynamical and an interesting range of different acoustic instruments, such as the bass, the percussion, the hooks and the second voices. Also, he uses his voice to create repetitive phrases that contain like a Dj effect at the end of the phrase of the hook. He uses the loop pedal very well to create a live recording which is very interesting because he recreates an acoustic kind of instruments just with the guitar and his voices. In addition, he accompanies himself with the guitar giving dynamic to the song, because even when everything is looped is not monotonous and repetitive in the whole song. he really knows how to put in and how to take out the recorded channels a tempo.
