Composing task two - First Track
My Second track is composed by the use of different techniques such as the use of edition of audio samples, for example, the song of James Brown "I feel good". The use of ESX24 / Fairlight which was a technique that I took from the song of kate bush, " hounds of love" that basically, it was an advance in the music industry for the flexibility and malleability of management of the material. On top of that it allowed to musicians to create new material, this was a great source of inspiration and learning.
Also the Gated Reverb, that also comes from kate bush's material to implement an effect of the mirror (rarefaction) in the sound of the song. The use of sound design with audio, which allowed me to change the pitch and the tempo from the audio sample, a structure, new instruments - away from pieces.
As I just to mention, it was based on the style of James Brown in his songs, and a clavinet but with synths playing rhythm and melody. Also, the use of an audio sample which creates the main sound world of this track.

In my opinion, I think that the first technique at the beginning of the track, which was the use of audio samples, in fact, It was the main source of ideas. To edit an audio sample by the use of the change of tempo, was very difficult for me for being creative about what to create with it. As well as, that the audio sample of the track of James Brown "I Feel good" is full of melody, so that, for me was complex to take a rhythmical pattern of it and creating a new one just with the base of the rhymical drums.
However, it was transformed into a new base of melody when the tempo was changed. The increasing of facilities for adding new instruments was very awesome because I thought that I would not be able to be creative with the composing.

The use of synths and combination of drums kit evokes a kind of accelerated and energic rhythm that changes the funky style to electronic music (House). That is the objective of the audio sample, to work as a source of ideas and inspiration for its rhythm and material that will enrich the new track.
On the other part, when I started to use the reverb on the track with the rhythm of drums kit, definitively, the reverb helps to blend the sounds of the drums and the synths and places those instruments in the sound space that in few words made that syncopation of on beat and offbeat. In addition, they would transmit a sense of accelerated music which becomes electronic music.
At the begging of the first four bars, we could identify that it was used an Intro as slowly similar as the audio sample of the song ' I feel good" . which is in D major key or also could be in D minor key. Mixes suddenly an intro of the trap bass and the synths, which fill up the track with more harmony and starts to give sense to the melody. After, the use of the reverb blends the drum kit's kick and hit hat with the instrumental intro to give more speed and dynamic.
In order to the next part of the track, when the song flows we can listen then the audio sample but cut in little parts to give staccato beats from the saxophone and snare that it contains. It starts with a synth but with three different melodies playing a sequence in D key. Furthermore, I added reverb to the instruments which it does not leave any gap. Also, I started to add other synths with an arpeggiator that basically, plays the notes added in the new instruments in an ascended and descendent scale.
