1)    What are your career goals – where do you want to be? Be as specific as possible – identify people/record labels/companies/brands/venues that you want to work with.

As an explorer for my future in the music industry, I look forward to my main career goals for becoming a sound engineer, a professional musician, a composer but also a producer. I have desirable targets which mainly are focusing on releasing my own music, increasing popularity in my image as a single artist in media and the improvement of my ideas to be entirely unique and original. In addition, I will be investing in my own project as an independent producer, the construction of my own brand and the continuation of experiences as a solo performer in several kinds of venues around the world.

However, I want to be in the best recording studios working as a sound engineer, producer and recording my music. Travelling to experience and to explore spaces where lots of bands and recognized artist have passed for. It is exciting working for the best brands of sound equipment and instrumentation, as well as aspiring to promote my own brand of music overtime with hard-work and perseverance.

Moreover, I want to study Sound, music, and technology at the City university of London. But, I have more universities in my mind as a second plan in case that my application on to this university was rejected.

In addition, I have a dream for working to Abbey Road studios and Real-world studios in England. However, as a performer or sound engineer, I would like to take part in concerts at the international festival of  Viña del Mar. I see myself in very recognised music industries' company around the world. I love to travel and to meet new places where I can be innovative and developing music that influence the youth.

1)    Why have you identified this as your target? Talk about your skills as well as your aspirations.

I have decided to take those targets because they are my principal reasons for being happy and thrive in my life. Most of my musical skills will be developed to reach my dreams in the music industry and my aspirations in this indescribable passion. I know I have a powerful conviction to become the owner of my own musical brand and also, recording artists, as well as the success of becoming a recognized artist and composer.

On top of that, I have good skills for singing, playing the piano, clarinet, guitar, bass and congas, which make me realise that I have to take advantage of my potential and the best of me to be innovative in this environment where I am going to interact most of my time. I have developed courage and confidence to face my fear of doing live performances where I have to keep a serious commitment to my responsibilities as a musician. I really enjoy taking over of the stage and I feeling free to transmit as much as I can.

The realistic idea for choosing these targets is to achieve a personal challenge and to surpass me in life.

The aspirations of being completely professional in my passion because I did the best for achieving it. I really recommend myself to overcome in life by doing what you love, not living for a life.

1)    Who are your role models? What did these people do in order to get to their position? Choose at least one leading professional in your field and write a detailed account of their career, including a biography and history as well as their current position. In your opinion, what were the key moments in their ascension? How can you mimic their career path?

My main role model is Charlie Puth because he is the kind of person that I would like to be in the future. He is a successful singer, composer, and producer of his own music, as well as the fact of being nominated three times to the Grammy's. Also, he releases very significative material that contains innovation and new techniques for being a songwriter, he is such a simple and smart person with amazing ideas for composing. even because he composes in spaces where the ideas just come up unexpectedly.

Charlie Puth was born the first of December in 1991, in Rumson, New Jersey, USA. 
he is a songwriter, producer and a very successful singer who also produces his own music and produces for recognised artists such as Wiz Khalifa 



Charlie Puth started in 2009 posting videos on youtube where he expanded his popularity in an outstanding way. One of the most-liked covers that he did was a cover of "Some like you" by Adele and after he was discovered, after his released hit such as "See you again", "Attention" and some more that suddenly made him famous. 

"the New Jersey-born singer, songwriter, musician, and producer was also eager to prove himself artistically when it came time to make his second album, "Voicenotes", named after the trusty iPhone app he uses to collect his musical ideas. Puth co-wrote every song and recorded and produced the album entirely himself (barring one song he co-produced with Max Martin) mainly at his home studio in Los Angeles."

I preferred to refer this quotation from Charlie's website because I want to specify that I feel inspired by this artist because he is the type of artist that I wanna be and I know that I have all the capability to complete all my wishes in the future. Also, he is similar to me in the way that he writes his ideas on his phone, which in my case I do not record audio or videos but most of my lyrics I write them there.

For example, the hit "Attention" was firstly recorded at Charlie's phone where later became a "big deal" for the music industry and his career.

2)    What steps are you going to take to achieve your goals? Be specific, break it down into all the small steps that will get you to your targets. Justify your decisions based on research, explain in detail why you have identified these actions as being integral to your progress.

• To finish my UAL course with outstanding results that help me to get the requirements that the university where I want to be is asking for.
• To entry to the university where I want to be to study sound engineer or music production. Also, to complete all the tasks to become a professional sound engineer and musician and getting the degree as a professional in my studies.
• To look for jobs about working for god brands of sound equipment, colleges, music studios, concerts and any other job that allows me to practise my career.
• To save money for funding my own music studios in my country and starting later my own music company and recording artists or recording myself.
• To promote my brand as a producer, solo artist and sound engineer to be known around the local places around the city where I will be living at that time and also be known in other countries (that depends on the popularity that I have).
• To expand my popularity by going to open mics and posting covers or my own songs released on social media. Also, recording artist or bands to expand my brand (about the studio that I plan to build in my country).
• To invest money in my recordings and marketing.
• to invest a lot of time studying to learn as much as I  can to develop better my skills.

3)    What will be the content of your Portfolio? What are you going to create? And where/how will it be displayed? Justify your decisions based on what you have learnt in your research.

I am going to create an album of 7 songs from my own composition, based on my EXP which contains songs about different moods (I will do a research on my EXP). Moreover, I will make a record of the progress that I have during my sessions of recording to show the process when I compose my music and how I collaborate with more people.

During the development of my portfolio, I will try to expand as many experiences and records as I can, to have a good story to talk about, especially my time in the music.
