week 6

Song of the week: Bailame/Dance me

Monday

Through the artistic development of my best friend Bryan from whom the artistic name is C-Bry, I want to support his compositions helping him with the production of the instrumentals. He has come to me today at home to show me his song and even if he did not know how to sing it or how to create the melody of it, I have come up with an idea because the lyrics really liked me.

We have started a rehearsing session at about 10 pm from today and since that time we stayed till 5 am in the morning from Tuesday. All the night working in the song and making the production of the track straight away.

He was a bit shy about singing for me to see how he sounds, but over the development of the session he has got confidence and we could arrange something interesting. This song is called 'Dance me' which is very upbeat and very catchy, it is more a danceable and party song talking about flirting and conquering a girl by dancing at a party where the dance floor is desolate and ready to start a good "romance".

Here I have attached to the video of our rehearsal and how we enjoy the moment of trying to arrange the song before we started the production of the instrumental. Basically, we made an improvised home studio where we could visualise everything on his Smart tv and we used some shoe's boxes to place the speakers, it was actually like coming back to our childhood where everything was extempore created by ourselves in a while:

After rehearsing and arranging the song for a couple of hours. I started to produce the instrumental. Here I have attached the screenshot of the production of the track plus the bounce of what we did tonight:

This version needs to be worked deeper and better. But we were very sleepy to carry on with the track, as well as it was so late. We just recorded a first version of the song which sounds bad but the idea is there.

Friday

During this whole week I was focus doing research, today I could re-take the song 'Bailame'.
