J4 Music around Europe for hearts with hope.

Entry criteria

  •  They support touring and concerts.
  • To be eligible I have to be a composer, songwriter or producer.
  •  They do not support international tours unless that " The requested support costs of international activity make up no more than 30% of PRS Foundation’s grant (e.g. up to £1,500 of a £5,000 grant can go towards international activity."
  • they say that the applicant can demonstrate significant audience grown and/or significant showcasing of new music as a result of an international activity.
  • Also, the applicant must show a clear need for funding of international activity.

This is a request for an arts funding for touring around Europe which is going to be funded by PRS Foundation through an open fund for music creators. This is the most suitable option for me because it is offered funds up to £5.000 for touring.  Also, the releasing of my album will be really the chance for growing as an artist and serving to organisations with the benefit of music therapy and gaining of fans. However, even if they do not support international touring, I can demonstrate that I need the funds which cannot take more than 30% of PRS Foundations' grant.


This is a target based on my artistic development as an independent musician, composer and producer who is constructing a project which will promote my career and my main interests of enriching my growth around Europe and getting known. However, my principal objective for this arts funding application is touring around Europe, visiting hospitals with people with terminal diseases and foundations which support lots of causes such as; mistreatment against women, children with cancer, immigrants, victims of human trafficking, rape and prostitution, with the purpose of realising concerts. Also, planning conversations with people involved in all this organisations and hospitals,  developing interviews about their lives and promoting the interest for music as a motivation for loving life and fighting against all the difficulties that have carried out the realisation of these organisations. Gaining fans who will increase my passion and significance of delivering my life through my profession.

The initiative was to experience how it feels to motivate people to live and feel better through the music. Mainly, to do it throughout Europe to know every culture and their way of facing terminal diseases and how they improve their foundations to keep the cause alive. However, if I get funded, it will principally cover all the expenses that the journey carries. All those expenses are to cover my hotel, food, tickets, equipment, dressing, cameraman, promotion of the cause on internet and transport inside the cities where I am going to be in all the countries of Europe and more expenses that take this project.

I will release this project alone and I plan to encourage all my fans for my courage, initiative and will for living these experience and the message that I will send. In return, I will edit a professional video of the experience which will be promoted on the internet and I will offer my albums for £5 pounds to anyone except to the people who funded my project that would be free for them and I will do campaign on my social media page to promote and getting known foundations and people who need support which through this could get some help from my fans. But also I will offer a deal of endorsement with some brands of music equipment that could be interested in seeing their brand logo and name on t-shirts that I will wear during my concerts apart from the instrument that I will play (using the brand which will endorse me or it is going to sponsor me).

The plan is to take one week during each city and about 2 months during Europe. Also, everything depends on any overcoming that comes up, but I will try to reach the target as planned. Specifically, the way of performing is to sing my repertoire in every single room of the hospital where the patients are or any venue available where I can develop my project for foundations. The point is to share my music and to arrive at people's hearts apart from the conversations or interviews that I am planning to do to document all the cases where life would be more motivating for others to reach their dreams as me.

Another important objective for this project is to be known for more foundations and organisations that get motivated for my movement and let me represent them musically and helping them with nonprofit interest. Therefore, the more my movement get known, the more I will reach founds to grow. I really want to make music of motivating lyrics about life and all my experiences through this project, mainly be an artist who takes advantage of the idea of making music based on the improvement for loving life and being grateful for all we have.

I have a target of reaching ten thousand pounds as the minimum amount to travel at least half of Europe realising all my concerts plus all the expenses that are needed. below I have done a list of the basic stuff needed, however, the cost of everything is unknown actually.

  • AEROPLANE TICKETS
  • AN APPROXIMATE OF 2'000.000 IN ACCESSORIES (such as brooches, diadems, handcuffs, cockades with the logo of J4 music and a message of 'loving life and hope for our dreams').
  • A CAMERAMAN AND MONEY TO PAY THE CAMERAMAN, PLUS THEIR AEROPLANE TICKETS, HOTEL AND FOOD.
  • HOTEL STAY.
  • FOOD.
  • CLOTHES WITH LABELS OF OUR BRAND.
  • MICROPHONES AND MINI AMPLIFIERS THAT CAN BE CARRIED EVERYWHERE WITHOUT EFFORT AND CAN BE VERY USEFUL FOR EASY DISPLACEMENT AND ORGANISATION AT THE CONCERTS IN THE EVENT THAT THERE IS NOT SOUND EQUIPMENT IN THE PLACES WHERE WE WILL BE PLAYING.
  • FLYERS TO GAIN AUDIENCE.
  • TO ARRANGE MARKETING WITH RADIO CHANNELS WHICH MIGHT HELP WITH SHARING INFORMATION ABOUT MY MOVEMENT.

On top of everything, during my progress of this project, I hope to be offered to be interviewed by TV channels and radio channels which would like to take part in this movement of nonprofit interest. As well as, the fact that I plan to construct a movement alone and with my own initiative of being known for being an artist who promotes his music and foundations.

In my opinion, I think to conclude this experience of voluntary homework as an artist who is in love of getting happy and full people's hearts and promoting love for music. I do not expect to enrich myself of money, I just hope to live the experience and to animate famous artist to do it in a high level where they have the profit to organise big events where all these people with difficulties can enjoy their favourites artists. As well as, those people never know when their lives are going to end before they enjoying someone else getting happier more their lives with music.

Half term holiday advance

In this half term, I will be working on my song "I wanna know you". 4th/april/2018 Today, I recorded the introduction of the song, but first of all, I remembered one of the tips from one of literature review which says that always we have to record first the instruments with louder frequency, but I started recording the base of the guitar and then I started adding the instruments. This song is in pop but I will add the reggaeton patterns at the chorus. This is a recording of the introduction of the song: The following audio is the same recording but with the effects on it. I have added EQ, Compressor, Pedals, reverb, delay and a phaser to create that sound: the next audio is the intro with the bass melody and the piano melody. Bernhoft who uses the looping on his music to creates the melody in every single instrument. he uses a dynamical and an interesting range of different acoustic instruments, such as the bass, the percussion, the hooks and the second voices. Also, he uses his voice to create repetitive phrases that contain like a Dj effect at the end of the phrase of the hook. He uses the loop pedal very well to create a live recording which is very interesting because he recreates an acoustic kind of instruments just with the guitar and his voices.
